When he is building, he is truly crafting that which inspires him. From the woods used, to the design, this guitar is deep from the soul of this great Canadian Luthier. The Spruce and the Flamed Maple are as Old Stock as it gets in this business. Misha is very pleased with the work, the sound, and the play of this instrument. She is superb, with a beautiful voice, musical immediately, expressive at the slightest touch. This is an impressive guitar. When she came, I was blown away. What a pleasure. With a silky, sublime voice, she resonates and fills the room with music immediately. She already possesses an old world voice and she’s a baby still. This is an amazing classical guitar by one of Canada’s greatest luthiers. ___________ Media Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?). My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar.
