Richard Prenkert 2016 Classical Guitar #372 Cedar w/Madagascar RW Comments Richard always builds an exceptional classical guitar using the best materials and all of his experience.  Powerful, sweet, easily played, his guitars are highly prized.   She is gorgeous.  The top is a superb example of Western Red Cedar, the back and sides with exceptional Madagascar Rosewood, straight grained, beautiful coloring.  Note that the guitar is a Traditional 7 Fan Braced guitar.  She sounds amazing. The guitar plays fast and easy with sublime voicing, excellent separation, clear lines in her singing.  She also wants to be driven, seriously releasing some bold yet warm power.  Clarity is exceptional, almost surprisingly so, until you remember that Richard built it.  He likes sweet power, with exceptional clarity, even with his cedar guitar.
