CITES Not Required – woods used are not regulated – please read provided link to the left 2013 Jason Wolverton “Dindi” Spruce Madagascar RW 640mm Comments: Beautiful guitar by Jason.  The marquetry on this guitar is phenomenal, as are the woods and workmanship overall.  These are all serious upgrades as per Jason’s web site.  The guitar is Lattice Braced, all wood.  The Spruce is BearClaw (desirable), while the Madagascar RW Back and sides are lined (reinforced for top projection ala Friederich) with Cypress and Maple.  Complemented by superb marquetry along with the Scheller tuners, and we have a little monster at 640mm scale length.  The guitar is called “Dindi”.  Apologies, but I do not know the back story to the name.  It is quite delicious looking and sounding with astoundingly easy play.  No problem to get the volume and expression you need out of the guitar. There is evidence of a couple of minor dings on the top and a problem free repair at the headstock by the high E string. She has a sweet pretty voice as well.  Setup nicely, easily played, she’s designed to make some serious music.  Smaller scale at 640mm with plenty of room within the fretboard and string spacing.  The guitar is an absolute pleasure to play. ___________ Media Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?).  My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar.  I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything.  Thanks.
